The film was created with Claude Fable 5 by Anthropic. Fable 5 is not a pure video model but a highly capable general-purpose model: Anthropic released it on June 9, 2026 as the first publicly available model of the so-called Mythos class. According to Anthropic, it leads on nearly all tested benchmarks, from software engineering to knowledge work and vision, and its lead grows with the length and complexity of a task. That versatility is exactly what makes it possible to create a film with it.
A short window
The film was made in an unusually short window: just three days after the release, on June 12, 2026, Anthropic had to temporarily suspend access to Fable 5 at the direction of the US government. The model has been available again since July 1, and Claude Fable 5.1 has been out since September. That makes the film not just a marketing asset, but also a small piece of AI history.
