n8n Training / Hands-on Workshop / Automation

Bluemoon – n8n Training & Automation Consulting

Hands-on n8n training on APIs, custom nodes and complex workflows — including analysis and improvement of the existing automations. Result: around 60 hours of time savings per month identified, training costs recouped immediately.

Bluemoon – n8n Training & Automation Consulting

Starting point

Bluemoon already had initial automations in place — lead intake and order processes via make.com, n8n, ClickUp and Windows server scripts. But: complex automations were still hard to envision for many processes, existing workflows were partly fragile, and the know-how for APIs, custom nodes and complex logic was missing.

Solution

1.5-day hands-on training: APIs, custom nodes and complex workflows in n8n — directly on the customer’s real systems. Existing make.com/n8n workflows were analyzed, fixed and improved together. On top of that, the modern AI-assisted workflow: define requirements cleanly, generate a first workflow version as a JSON template with Claude, connect systems (Outlook/MS365) and iterate from there. Finally, a roadmap for the next automations emerged — from human-in-the-loop invoice dispatch and dunning to automated social media replies and WooCommerce integration.

Technology stack

  • n8n (APIs, custom nodes, complex workflows, self-hosted in Docker)
  • Claude (AI-assisted workflow creation via JSON templates)
  • make.com & ClickUp (existing automation landscape)
  • MS365 / Outlook integration (mailbox monitoring, invoice intake)
  • Webhooks, PowerShell integration & error subworkflows with notifications

Result & Impact

  • Around 60 hours of time savings per month identified for one employee — costs for workshop and training recouped immediately
  • Customer feedback: “It opened my eyes in many places.”
  • Existing workflows stabilized and improved, clear ideas roadmap for the coming months
  • The team can now build and iterate on automations themselves with AI assistance
