Amphenol Precision Optics – AI Seminar with a Use Case Workshop
AI seminar with a use case workshop at Amphenol Precision Optics: employees from every department are to develop concrete ideas for automation and AI agents. Plus fundamentals, prompting and safe data handling.
Starting point
Prior knowledge of AI varies across the team, and first AI tools are already being tried out. The goal: bring all employees closer to AI, reduce uncertainty, and find use cases for their own work.
Solution
An online company seminar via Microsoft Teams with 8 teaching units of 45 minutes each, spread over two mornings one week apart, each from 9:00 to 12:15. Employees from marketing, purchasing, sales and development are invited, along with managers. The work happens in two small groups so there is enough room for questions and people’s own examples.
The structure builds toward the use case workshop at the end. The first morning lays the foundations and ends with a transfer task for the week until the second session. On the second morning, participants develop their own ideas in the workshop and present them in short pitches. The focus is on tasks from their own area that can be automated or handed over to an AI agent.
