Privacy Policy

Protecting your personal data matters to us. Below we explain which data we process, for what purpose, and on what legal basis.

1. Controller

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

TAISC - The AI Software Company GmbH
Haid-Und-Neu-Str. 18
76131 Karlsruhe
Germany

Represented by: Joshua Heller
Email: info@theaisoftwarecompany.com

2. General Information on Data Processing

As a matter of principle, we only process personal data of our users to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. Personal data is processed regularly only with the user's consent or where another legal basis permits the processing.

Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (e.g. name, address, email address).

3. Hosting

Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you access our website, Vercel, acting as our hosting service provider on our behalf, automatically collects information transmitted by your browser in so-called server log files. These are in particular:

  • the IP address of the requesting device,
  • the date and time of access,
  • the name and URL of the retrieved file,
  • the website from which the access was made (referrer URL),
  • the browser used and, where applicable, your operating system and the name of your access provider.

This data is processed to ensure a smooth connection to the website, to enable convenient use of our website, to evaluate system security and stability, and for administrative purposes. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes of data collection listed above.

Since the server location may be in the USA, personal data may be transferred to a third country. Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We have also concluded a data processing agreement with Vercel that incorporates the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.

4. Contact and Contact Form

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, company, and the content of your message) in order to handle and respond to your inquiry.

The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your inquiry is aimed at concluding or performing a contract. In all other cases, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries directed to us pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

To send the data entered via the contact form, we use the service Resend provided by Resend, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. Resend processes the contents of your message on our behalf in order to deliver it to us as an email. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Resend. Here too, the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission apply to the transfer to the USA.

The data you transmit remains with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent to its storage, or the purpose for the data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your inquiry has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular retention periods — remain unaffected.

5. Reach Measurement (Plausible Analytics)

Where enabled, we use Plausible Analytics on our website, a privacy-friendly web analytics solution. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect any personal data. Only aggregated, anonymized statistics are collected (e.g. pages visited, approximate origin based on the anonymized IP address, the browser used, and device type). It is not possible to identify individual visitors or to recognize them across multiple visits.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a statistical analysis of user behavior to optimize our offering pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. As no personal data is processed and no cookies are set, no consent is required for this.

6. Cookies

Our website only uses technically necessary cookies insofar as these are required for the operation of the website. They serve solely to make our offering user-friendly and functional. No processing for marketing or tracking purposes takes place. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and to allow cookies only in individual cases or to exclude them entirely.

7. SSL / TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address line changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser bar. When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

8. Your Rights as a Data Subject

With regard to the personal data concerning you, you have the following rights:

  • right of access (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
  • right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • right to object to the processing (Art. 21 GDPR),
  • right to withdraw consent given (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

To exercise your rights, an informal message to the controller's contact details listed above is sufficient.

9. Right to Object

Insofar as we process personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest), you have the right to object to this processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. We will then no longer process the personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or unless the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.

10. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes the GDPR.

11. Currency and Amendment of this Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is currently valid. As our website and offerings develop further, or due to changed statutory or regulatory requirements, it may become necessary to amend this privacy policy. The current privacy policy can be accessed on this page at any time.
