Founder's Associate

TAISC – The AI Software Company | Hybrid (Karlsruhe) | Internship (March 2026 – September 2026)

About Us
At TAISC – The AI Software Company, we believe that AI-powered software development is essential for driving digital transformation in businesses. Software is the backbone of our digital world — and often a bottleneck. We consult, build, and implement individually tailored AI solutions — from strategic advisory through AI automations, MVP/prototyping, all the way to custom development. Not to replace people, but as a tool to empower them and boost their productivity. We work with cutting-edge technologies, deep domain and methodological expertise, and a genuine hands-on mentality. Our team combines technical expertise with user-centered thinking. We value clarity over buzzwords and genuine collaboration — with enterprises, mid-market companies, and startups alike. We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for someone to help shape the next phase of growth and scaling together with the founding team.

Your Role (Your time to shine!)
As Founder’s Associate, you’re the right hand of both founders, contributing to strategic, operational, and organizational matters. You’re both a co-creator and a doer — the central hub for everything that moves TAISC forward. You think ahead, take ownership, and ensure that our expansion is efficient, focused, and impactful. If you love rolling up your sleeves, this is exactly where you belong — you take on responsibility from day one. No two days are alike, and that’s what makes this role special.

What to Expect
- Support the founders and management in strategic decisions, planning, and execution
- Conduct and prepare analyses, reports, and decision briefs (market, competition, AI & software development trends)
- Co-lead client projects in AI consulting and operations
- Project and program management: initiation, coordination, and monitoring of key growth and transformation initiatives
- Build operational processes, workflows, and KPIs for scaling
- Internal and external stakeholder management (clients, partners, investors)
- Business development: identify and qualify new opportunities, support pitch and proposal preparation
- Help build organizational structures, culture, and team development
Everything else that comes up — startup mentality included

What You Bring
- Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, or a comparable field — ideally with some experience in a startup, scale-up, or consulting environment (preferably in tech/AI)
- Strong analytical thinking and structured approach to work
- Hands-on mentality: you roll up your sleeves, think things through, and aren’t afraid to make mistakes
- Genuine interest in AI and software development — technical basics are a plus
- Entrepreneurial thinking: you spot leverage points, want to see results, and can do more than just “execute”
- Experience in project or program management, ideally with KPIs, processes, and reporting
- High self-motivation, ambition, and willingness to take ownership
- Tech-savviness: ideally some exposure to AI, software development, or data science
- Excellent communication skills in English (and German is a plus)
- Initiative, curiosity, and the ability to navigate a dynamic environment

What We Offer
- A dynamic, growth-oriented environment with flat hierarchies and lots of room to shape things
- Direct access to founders and strategy — not a back-office role, but a vital one
- One of the steepest learning curves you’ll find — direct exposure to every part of the business
- An environment built on clarity, ownership, and real impact
- Growth opportunities: you grow with us — toward business leadership and strategy
- Modern working conditions: flexible hours, remote option, top-of-the-line tech
- An inspiring team that genuinely lives values like transparency, co-creation, and real impact

Full-Stack Agentic AI Engineer (Working Student / Internship)

TAISC – The AI Software Company | Hybrid (Karlsruhe) | Working Student / Internship (starting March 2026)

About Us
At TAISC – The AI Software Company, we believe that AI-powered software development is essential for driving digital transformation in businesses. Software is the backbone of our digital world — and often a bottleneck. We consult, build, and implement individually tailored AI solutions — from strategic advisory through AI automations, MVP/prototyping, all the way to custom development. Not to replace people, but as a tool to empower them and boost their productivity. We work with cutting-edge technologies, deep domain expertise, and a genuine hands-on mentality. We value clarity over buzzwords and genuine collaboration — with enterprises, mid-market companies, and startups alike. We’re growing fast.

Your Role
As a Full-Stack Agentic AI Engineer, you’ll work on the design, development, and production deployment of modern AI systems, agent workflows, and MVPs — from architecture to deployment. You won’t develop software “classically” — you’ll develop it AI-first. You’ll use tools like Cursor, Claude Code, OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and modern frameworks and cloud stacks daily to ship features faster, cleaner, and smarter. What matters to us: we’re not looking for vibe-coders, but real software engineers who think structurally, write clean code, understand software architecture, and take ownership of quality, security, and maintainability. You ideally bring practical project experience, a GitHub profile, portfolio, or references, and want to use AI not as a toy but as a serious productivity and technology driver.

What to Expect
- You build AI agents, workflows & automations that solve real problems.
- AI is your daily tool across all phases of development — you use it deliberately, think critically, and own the results.
- You build MVPs, features, and automations — fast, clean, creative.
- You work on client projects and take early ownership of features or sub-products.
- You bring your ideas: internal tools, open-source contributions, experiments, content.
- You’ll learn cloud architecture, RAG setups, agent orchestration & DevOps basics.

What You Bring
- Pursuing a technical bachelor’s or master’s degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics, Media Informatics, Software/AI Engineering, or similar)
- Curiosity and excitement for AI, LLMs, agents, and modern tools — you use AI as a deliberate extension of your own skills, not a replacement for them.
- Some experience or projects in modern full-stack cloud-native development (Python, TypeScript, React/Next.js, AWS/Azure).
- You like experimenting beyond coursework — side projects, open source contributions, or a first venture. (Not required, but we love seeing what you’ve built.)
- A hands-on mentality: you try things instead of discussing them endlessly.
- You want to grow and help shape the future of the software industry.

What We Offer
- Direct collaboration with the founders: regular feedback, sparring, and pair programming.
- Modern tools (Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Perplexity) and Apple hardware
- Lots of freedom, plenty of room for your own ideas, and a fast learning curve.
- An environment where you can grow within months, not years.
- Working at an AI-first company that doesn’t just talk about AI — we use it every single day.
- We mostly work together in Karlsruhe (~3 days/week). Until we have our own office, we use a mix of in-person and flexible remote work.
